What Happens When You're Four Seasons Late Watching a TV Show
Or the 5 stages of catching up on a cool TV show.
ART Trixie Ison

Full disclosure: This article was inspired by true events, i.e., me getting Hooked on Once Upon A Time, a fantastic show that re-imagines classic fairy tales. (Thanks, iFlix!)

 1  Nonchalance

Should you give this show another try even if you didn't really like the pilot episode? But you’re so behind—it's already four seasons long! Meh, what have you got to lose? Everything's on break, anyway.

 2  Awe

OMG, what is this sorcery? You can't believe they did that, and this character is actually this character, and then they completely changed the game in the finale! Now you get why everyone's so into this show!

 3  Obsession

Just. One. More. Episode!

 4  Badger mode

You message your friends all your thoughts about the show, and they're like, yeaaah that's so four years ago. You also ask them all sorts of things but demand that they don't spoil you. (But there's always that one friend who gets a kick out of spoiling you, grrr.) Then you apologize to them for doing these things, but can't help yourself from doing it all over again the next day.

 5  Mixed feelings

You've been marathon-ing this show for the past two weeks and you're still on season two. On one hand, you're frustrated that you have such a long way to go, but on the other, you're glad that the next episode is at your fingertips—until you reach the end of course. Oh but wait, the show is coming back next month, so yay for more episodes! Now maybe you should go back to watching so you’ll be all caught up by next month...
