We are living in a very busy world where people are so driven and so goal-oriented that it's easy to get lost and dizzy in everything. If you think celebrities are safe from that feeling because they should be so used to a very busy schedule by now, you're wrong.

Liv and Maddie's Dove Cameron shares that when the show was just starting, she met up with Disney alum Selena Gomez who gave her some useful advice on how to deal with everything. (via People.com)

"She was so lovely...We ended up just, like, barefoot on the floor in her kitchen. She was, like, '[The] most important thing is that you never deviate from your authenticity. You're just open, you're bare with your fans,'" she said. "I have fully taken that in stride and I think that’' such a universal thing that really holds up and I would give that advice to anyone."

It's hard to be faithful to who you are because, admit it or not, we're too focused on our goals—#FeedGoals, #SquadGoals, or even #RelationshipGoals. We try so much to fit in, when we're all designed differently from one another. This is why we think Sel's advice is something we should all keep in our hearts. That no matter what happens, we stay faithful to who we are and that we're never fearful to show who we are to the people around us.
