Taylor Swift chats with her fans about her summer and her new album Speak Now.

Taylor Swift is coming out with her new album on October 25 and she chats with her fans about working on it all summer. She also talks about moving in to her own place for the very first time—going antique shopping, doing construction, and even cooking for herself.

Follow the countdown to her first single, "Mine" on her website. For now, all they've released is the cover art for the single. Can you make out the words on the cover? Possibly the lyrics to her single! Here's what we managed to make out from the cover:

You are the best thing that's ever been mine
Do you remember all the city lights on the water
You saw me start to believe for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter

Taylor has this to say about Speak Now, a very personal album, "Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person."

She says "Mine" is a song about her tendency to run from love. "I think it's because for me, every really direct example of love that I've had in front of me has ended in good bye, has ended in breakup. I've developed this pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love." "Mine" is about finding the exception to that and finding someone who'll make you believe in love. "I'm never ever going to go past hoping that love can work out. I'm always going to be hopeful and blindly optimistic when it comes to love."

Now, we wonder, who did she want to say these words to? Any guesses? Sound off in the comments below!
