After conducting its online auditions, the phenomenal Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition is set to go back on air this year. Thousands of hopefuls have sent in their one-minute video clips and it's up to the judges to know who deserves a spot in Big Brother's House.
We're so excited to get to know this year's housemates, but we're also looking forward to the love stories that will unfold in the show. We've compiled a few of PBB Teen Edition's most memorable love teams throughout its four seasons! Who's your fave?
Yves Flores and Myrtle Sarrosa (PBB: Teen Edition Season 4)
Who: Yves is a working student from Tarlac City, and Myrtle is a cosplayer from Iloilo. While Yves was evicted 76 days after staying inside the PBB house, Myrtle ended up being the season's big winner. The last time these two appeared together was in the teleserye Kahit Puso'y Masugatan.
Most kilig moment: They sure had a lot of kilig moments, but this cheesy "argument" brings the others they have to shame. We can’t even identify the exact part when we began having butterflies in our stomachs. "Kahit sobrang taba mo na, kahit may wrinkles ka na," Yves tells Myrtle, "love pa rin kita." However, the sweet moments were short-lived because Myrtle soon discovered that Yves already had a girlfriend.
Bret Jackson and Fretzie Bercede (PBB Teen Clash)
Who: Fretzie is a Seventh-Day Adventist who was raised in a conservative household. Bret is from the USA and moved to Dumaguete City, Philippines with his father. Fretzie ended up being the season's third teen big placer, last appearing in the teleserye Angelito: Batang Ama. Bret was the sixth teen big placer and was last reported to be making music with fellow PBB alum James Reid.
Most kilig moment: The task when they had to sit on a stack of dominoes. Bret's lines were bittersweet. We felt like they were a couple who are bound to separate really soon. "When you get out, look for me, ha?" he tells Fretzie, "And if you leave, I'll look for you." Where do they get lines like these? *sobs*
Josef Elizalde and Nicole Uysiuseng (PBB: Teen Edition Plus)
Who: Josef is from Metro Manila, and Nicole is from Cebu. While Josef was evicted on the 49th day, Nicole ended up being the third placer of the season. Josef last appeared in Angelito: Batang Ama and had some sacting tints in Maalala Mo Kaya. Nicole also appeared in Maalala Mo Kaya and Precious Hearts Romances: Somewhere In My Heart and Bud Brothers.
Most kilig moment: A lot of pushing and pulling were involved in this PBB couple, but what we loved most was that early morning conversation they had. The two were arguing when, suddenly, fellow housemate Jolas Paguia sat beside Nicole! The two were exchanging stares and were rudely looking at him for ruining the moment. Good thing, the unwelcome party realized how awkward the situation was and walked away!
Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu (PBB: Teen Edition Season 1)
Who: These two are probably the biggest stars PBB launched. Gerald is a Fil-Am from General Santos City, and Kim is a half-Chinese from Cebu. Kim ended up winning the show's first season. Because of her undeniable chemistry with Gerald, the two were soon paired onscreen for teleseryes and movies. The last project they appeared in together was the movie ‘Til My Heartaches End. They now have earned A-list celeb status in the country, and are also happy with their own relationships (Gerald with Maja Salvador; Kim with Xian Lim), but we are still hoping they'd get to appear in a project or two together in the future.
Most kilig moment: This brings us more nostalgia than kilig—Gerald tickles his way to make Kim show the cameras her armpit! Watching this clip of this two goofing around makes us want to buy a time machine and go back to the moments when Kimerald was just starting out! *sigh*
