Yup, we're talking about J.Law right now. Not J.Lo, who's also a recording superstar. Yes! It's Jennifer Lawrence, the Academy Award-winning actress who starred most recently in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 we're calling a singer!

Remember when she told David Letterman that no one really wants to hear her sing?

You have never been more wrong, girl, because "The Hanging Tree" (which features the actress's vocals) debuted at the 12th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week! Written by The Lumineers' Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz based on Suzanne Collins lyrics from Mockingjay, "The Hanging Tree" gets the limelight when Katniss attempts to relax by singing the song and mockingjays carry the tune to different parts of Panem, and as a result, it becomes the rebels' song while fighting for their cause.

Listen to the track here and let us know what you think of it or of J. Law who may well be on her way to becoming a recording star soon.
