JC Santos Finally Talks About His Diary ng Panget Acting Stint
Yup, he was in that movie!
ART Clare Magno

Remember when we told you that Till I Met You star JC Santos was actually in James Reid and Nadine Lustre's first movie together, Diary ng Panget? We got so excited about it, too, because it felt like destiny for him to be there and to be able to work with JaDine now.

So when we shot him for this month's feature, we excitedly asked JC to talk about his stint on the show—both as the 2nd assistant director and as one of the actors.

"Kababalik ko lang noon galing New York. Meron akong mga gigs everywhere. Pagbalik ko, wala pa akong work. So si Direk Andoy [Ranay], tinanong n'ya ako kung pwede akong mag-second assistant director," he tells us while laughing, almost embarrassed that we found the photos and videos.

"First time ko ma-experience 'yun kasi first time kong mag-direct ng crowd. Hindi ko masyadong inisip 'yun kasi more of director ako that time.

He then tell us that that was actually his first directing job for a film. "I think it's going to be my last," he says. I think I'm not yet ready."

And regarding that photoshoot scene he did with the two oncam, here's what he has to say about it.

"Oo, nag-extra ako noon kasi wala silang talents that time.

Curious how it turned out? Watch the scene below!
