Ed Sheeran Getting Cut by a Sword is Not the Sheerio Update We Want
He had to get stitches!

Ed Sheeran shared a mock-knighting gone wrong moment when James Blunt jokingly asked Princess Beatrice of York to be knighted, and the princess grabbed a sword and swung it over her shoulder. Misjudging the weight of the sword and not knowing that Ed was standing right behind her, the blade cut his right cheek—just a few inches from his eye!

Even after getting stitches on his face, The Sun reported that Ed still acted the perfect gentleman that he is and didn't hold a grudge against the Princess, saying that it was all just an accident. We're missing this ginger even more—and we hope he steers clear of any more freak accidents before he releases a new record! (via refinery29.com)
