5 Things You Missed Today (April 24)

One Direction's Where We Are tour kicks off tomorrow, Ian Somerhalder talks about making a difference—plus, news about Lorde, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and Pharrell Williams!

One Direction's Where We Are Tour is kicking off Friday in Colombia. And while we're still praying to the gods that they send the boys this way, we can't help but feel envious excited when they revealed the stage where they're set to perform! It's so huge, right?

Don't you just love cute guys who make a difference? Take The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder, for example. The 35-year-old actor recently appeared on the Tavis Smiley Show where he opened up about using his celeb status to encourage today's youth to combat climate change. Watch him passionately talk about his advocacy below.

Performing nonstop for weeks can be super exhausting. So, it's understandable that Lorde's parents asked her to cancel her Australian shows so she can have some rest. The 17-year-old singer apologized to her fans via Twitter and announced that the tour resumes on November.

Are Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara, and Amber Tamblyn reuniting for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' final film? Yes, they are! Alloy Entertainment, the company behind the movies, revealed through its president Les Morgenstein that they are "looking forward to continuing its legacy with Sisterhood Everlasting." Based on the books written by Anne Brashares, Sisterhood Everlasting is the final story in the series following the friendship of Tibby, Lena, Bridget, and Carmen. No date of release was announced yet, but we are definitely putting this on our must-watch list.

Pharrell Williams has a new song, and it sounds as happy as "Happy." Titled "Marilyn Monroe," Pharrell pays homage to women, like the late Hollywood star which the song was named after. Check out the super fun and colorful music video of the song now!
