5 Movies for Single Girls About Following Your Dreams
Watch these five movies whenever you're having a bad day and the voices of doubt in your head can't be silenced. Stop listening to them and just do your best.
Fox Searchlight

March is here, Candy Girls! For most of you, this probably signals the end of your high school days. And if you're scared of what lies ahead a.k.a. college, here's us doing what we do best: encouraging you to go after your dreams and make them real. Watch these five movies whenever you're having a bad day and the voices of doubt in your head can't be silenced. Stop listening to them and just do your best. You'll be okay.

  1. Tracks

Want to go exploring while discovering yourself? Then do it. Live like Robyn Davidson who didn't let fiinancial setbacks and even the scorching heat of the sun stop her from walking with only camels and a dog for company from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean.

  2. Waitress

Don't settle for less if there's a way to make things better for yourself. Learn this with waitress Jenna who's trapped in an unhappy situation. Know that if you don't do it now, life will present you with opportunities to force you to change things. Just remember to seize and make good use of them.

  3. Joy

Even if you're scarred, hurt, and are on what seems to be a losing streak in life, never, ever give up. With perseverance and imagination, you can lead the life you want to just like Jennifer Lawrence in the movie Joy.

  4. The Secret Life of Bees

If you're feeling lost, go on an adventure and find yourself. Sometimes, knowing who you are and what you live for will help you figure out your dreams. Take it from Lily Owens in this adaptation of Sue Monk Kidd's novel of the same title who goes on her own adventure of knowing more about her mother and then finding herself and a new family in the end.

  5. The Help

While working towards your dreams, never forget to give back to the people who helped you along the way and use your talents to make this world a better place to live in. We are all for ourselves in this big world, so it will make a big difference if we look out for each other for a change. Take your cue from Skeeter Phelan in this movie based on Kathryn Stockett's novel of the same title.
