Pretty Little Liars, Saturday Night Live, Doctor Who, and more!

Pretty Little Liars on ETC. Rosewood switches things up with a special episode set during Christmas instead of Halloween. The Grinch has nothing on A and/or Alison (???) and their minions.

Saturday Night Live on JackTV. Amy Adams hosts the last episode of the year, with One Direction as the musical guest. Watch as she flirts with the lads in her own cute, sneaky way in the video below. "Mistletoe? Who put that there?" Haha! Don't just wait for the 1D performances on YouTube—watch the whole thing and keep your eyes peeled for their possible appearances in the sketches!

Radio1's Big Weekend on ETC. Spend the holidays with the biggest music stars in the world like Lorde, Katy Perry, and Ed Sheeran.

Doctor Who on BBC. Don’t be intimidated by the history of the 50-year-old British fantasy series. The Christmas special is usually a standalone episode that you and your whole family can enjoy. Who knows, it might even convince you to start watching for real!

Downton Abbey on BBC. If it's your first time with the Crawleys, it might take you a while to get used to their old school ways and English accents. But the dialogue and storyline have a steady rhythm best paired with a good lie-in and tea and scones. Convince your mom and titas to join you—George Clooney will be guest-starring.
