  1. Nadine Lustre. Our December-January cover girl broke through 2014 with two hit movies, a lot of endorsements, and a weekly month-long series to her name. We can only imagine her 2015 to be even bigger than that!

  2. Ellar Coltrane. After his stint in likely Oscar Best Picture-winning movie, Boyhood, there's no doubt about that Ellar knows how to take his time. He'll need a lot of those next year when he attends awards shows one after the other.

  3. Maisie Williams. Playing Arya Stark is already a cool thing, but that doesn't make this 17-year-old less cool when she sports her Game of Thrones costume. As a matter of fact, how she manages to make her presence felt among her contemporaries is a confidence that a lot of us aspire.

  4. Jack O'Connell. At 24, Jack is off to greater things. After all, he's just leading the next Angelina Jolie-directed movie, playing US icon Louis Zamperini. Plus, he's headlining four more films after Unbroken. Talk about breakthrough.

  5. Quvenzhane Wallis. Breaking records one after the other, the youngest Best Actress nominee in Oscar history is off to greater paths including the title role of the 2014 remake of one of the most prominent Broadway musicals ever, Annie.

  6. Manolo Pedrosa. Just like Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson, Pinoy Big Brother is a franchise that knows how to create a superstar. It seems like this chinito (who happened to win the Best New Male TV Personality trophy last month) is on his way to join the list. Did we mention he's also a Candy Cutie?

  7. Kaitlyn Dever. While she has been starring in movies and TV series for quite some time now, it seems like Kaitlyn is just starting to reap what she sow by starring in two more films next year after her critical success in Short Term 12.

  8. Keegan Allen. Whether doing his usual schtick in Pretty Little Liars or starring in James Franco in movies, Keegan certainly made the right connections in Hollywood. But that doesn't go with the fact that he's just coasting it in. FYI, he's a photographer as well. To say he's multi-faceted is a given.

  9. Bella Thorne. This 17-year-old stunner has starred with the likes of Steve Carell, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, and Drew Barrymore in a short span of time. If that's not a quick career, then we don't know what is. Oh and she's slated to appear in three films already for 2015!

  10. Iñigo Pascual. Sure, it probably helps that his father is the most prominent bachelor in the Philippines, but to undermine this talented kid isn't a wise decision. He got the dancing, acting, and singing bug already! Triple threat, indeed!
